Greetings Cousin Ike:

AMAT appears to me to be having a normal attack of the split jitters. Most stocks, when split is announced, when split happens, and after split for several weeks generates anxiety and nervousness in the ranks of the owners and prospective owners.
The ones who jumped in at annc are mostly there just for quick profit, the longer term owners take a renewed interest and consideration in their position and after split new buyers are somewhat hesistant because they think about what they missed by not buying sooner and all in all----onset of the split jitters. Or at least that's what I call it. Happens in the best of families, too........ggg
It's a rare equity that doesn't fall prey to some, or all, or more of, the problems than in the simple example I just used.
