The above are not prerequisites to being president of the United States of America.

Also, had Carter not been victimized by Reagan's 'angry-white-male' rage against taxpayer money spent on women on welfare (yet the GOP today bails out the money moguls), the backroom GOP hanky-panky involving the Iranian hostage situation and various other fear-mongering southern white strategy-related tactics, Carter would have been reelected and his energy policies involving wind, solar and, yes, even nuclear (remember Carter was a nuclear scientist) would have been in force today, thus perhaps eliminating a blood-soaked Middle East involving oil.

That Carter suggested wearing a sweater was actually quite practical. Would you wear a sweater if it meant not going to war in the MidEast?
