We use 6 bill barrels a year or about 20 mill barrels a day. We import 2/3 of that or about 4 bill barrels. Oil is fungible so whoever we buy it from makes not much difference except for the quality of the oil. Anyway this it seems would add 4 bill times the price of oil- say $70 or about $280 bill to our current account deficit or about 1/2 the deficit.
