Actually, he was billed back then as the New Electric Dylan -- this is why I went, got a heads-up on him from a friend. Although the music was superb they were performing in a dead-night environment. Really it was just like any place where two-thirds or more of the seats remain empty -- ya just sorta' hung in there likin' the music and continually lookin' around and not findin' the woman(s) whom otherwise would be so pleazin'. Yes, I saw the potential of the band way back then -- it was during a period in time to which I was forming and managing rock n' roll bands. So I wuz' in the right place!!!
