Voting for the more "popular" guy doesn't take any wisdom. If that's the way you see it, it pretty much puts a spike through the heart of representative democracy. What I find really foolish is giving the same idiots (or at least half of them) who were responsible for this current financial crisis even more power to "fix" it. Hopefully government will assume more of their regulatory responsibility. We'll have four years to find out whether Obama can meet the expectations of the "moderates," or whether he'll turn into the Manchurian candidate of Inode's worst nightmares. Probably somewhere in between. 1/2 a manchurian candidate????
