That's possible, TS. Depends if the remaining Reps opt for a scorched earth strategy to prove their virility, or they want to play a role in governing the country. If the Senate has 60 Dems, then the obstructionists could be largely swept aside and become irrelevant. Hopefully they will decide that's a dead end, and look for a way to forge a new identity.

I have no doubt that Obama's (presumed) inaugural address will include a lot of reaching across the aisle, as will his Cabinet appointments. Once you extend your hand, it's up to the other side whether they take it or walk away.
