AFAIK, it is still on the approved list. The CIA has announced a reluctance to use it, though.

It certainly is NOT on the "approved" list (if there IS such a list).

Waterboarding was used on precisely 3 of these creeps and yielded excellent results that saved lives in each of those three incidents. The CIA currently considers it to be generally banned.

It was always considered an extreme measure for extreme cases.

I would hope that any self-respecting CIA agent who felt it would save American lives would proceed with the technique knowing that he might be prosecuted for it. That is the kind of dedication these people have. Country first.

Unlike pussy-liberals who don't comprehend that when you're fighting a war and dealing with bad people you can't rule out exceptionally productive tactics.
