Religious issues have little to do with it. JMO There were two religious issues in this campaign, three, if you count idiot Pelosi's comment about when a life begins. The first issue was the media and the political left spinning how horrible the Mormon religion must be. The second religious issue dealt with obama's nutty minister. I agree that the left tilt to full liberal think (nowadays known as progressive think) caused the weak kneed republicans to move toward the center and even to the left when one considers their stand on illegal immigration, ANWR and global warming. For mccain, it was no big deal since he already thought that way. Those who "protest" by voting for ron paul should feel some solace when they pay those obama initiated higher taxes.
