Those who "protest" by voting for ron paul should feel some solace when they pay those obama initiated higher taxes. Especially if they're protesting over the influence of the religious right. Ironic to supposedly vote principle by a protest vote for Paul because the religious right supposedly has too much influence in moral matters, like abortion. I guess principles are only important if you agree with them.
