Obama has never given me the impression that he is rash or stupid.

Me neither, and I'm not worried about those within his administration.

However, it has to be said, that he hasnt made many controversial stands against elements of the Democratic party either. I just hope that John is right that there wont be much support in the Senate for those ideas so he wont be tested along those lines. National healthcare is one such subject as is trade and taxes. We'll see where the debate goes on all of these issues over the next few months.

I truly hope that he is the one leading the Democratic party rather than the reverse.

Hmmm, I guess like the Obamans earlier in the evening, I am a nervous nellie as well <g>. I am just not a fan of one-party rule....no matter who is at the helm.
