I was talking today to a black guy I work with and a young black woman. I was telling them that victory was at hand. It really hit me hard to see how much they wanted to believe it could happen, but they had been disappointed sooooo many times in the past that they really did not dare to hope. I told them this time WAS different. They were wildly skeptical.
