From all we have seen and heard, family and fidelity have been incredibly important values for Obama. Often, we don't discover their importance until times are bad; when we feel on top of the world, it's easy to take family for granted.

But Obama never slipped on the way up, and seems to be firmly anchored. I have no doubt that Michelle will keep him that way.
