Well you guys did have a few years to temper Bush in such a way as to preserve whatever initiatives you really believed in, and thus preserve the seats of some of your favored conservative offerings. I never saw much of an effort to do so. It was mostly runaway support of Bush at every hinge point that led to the blowback of tonight. Is blowback now a concept you can understand?
