So what does an Obama election mean for affirmative action? It seems to me to be evidence that affirmative action is or is becoming a relic. If Obama had lost, we would be hearing much about alleged racism etc. An Obama victory seems to show an America that can reward an African-American without the benefit of affirmative action special treatment.
