Alaska Update: Last-minute Republican surge defies polls! With 99% of precincts reporting, Senator Ted Stevens leads 48% to 46.5%, and Congressman Don Young leads 51.5% to 44%. However, thousands of early, absentee, and questioned ballots remain to be counted so final results could take up to 15 days. If Stevens wins, we could see some interesting political intrigue.
