VS. what the Republicans have been doing the past few months?

The "lottery society" embraced by the Republicans, with a few winners and everyone else a loser, just doesn't seem to be as effective as the opportunity society of the Democrats.

We'll be seeing a decrease in the number of superyachts, but an increase in the number of good roads, good schools, and healthy children. You do that by paying working wages to a larger fraction of the population and creating fewer princes out of incompetent CEOs.

It may be fun to fantasize that you'll be the next air-headed, incompetent corporate flak or bond trader to get paid $400 million for screwing up, then owe next to nothing in taxes, but in the end you're more likely to be hit by lightning.
