I read your post as asking for someone to lead the republican party and bring them back to the center. I know that Arnold can't run for president but I think he is one that could lead the Republican party back towards a more centrist position, if not by running for president but by putting some policies in place that would attract the moderates back to the party. I think that at least some of the moderates that are now democrats in office in the past, might have gone to the republican side but as of right now, are turned off by their small tent state of mind. Arnold possibly has the star appeal to get some in the party to listen.
