Hello THC, Good to see you in telecom equipment land. We have exchanged threads in the past,CYMI and the CMP equipment space. Dialogic does not compete against YURI and Cisco Yet. However, Dialogic is clearly moving into the system space in the future. Currently, they make the media processing boards that reside in the equipment makers boxes. They process your analog voice into digital, packetize the signal and send the packet to the switch. Once at the other end of the network, they recieve the packet and reconstruct your voice. This is software and algorithm intensive and requires DSP's processing billions of operations per second (BOPS). I have to do some work on the implications of the recent Cicso announcement. I happen to think it will benefit Dialogic. However, I'm not sure. I'm in the middle of eps season and can't keep up currently. Conclusion: Don't worry about DLGC because of this announcement. Jay
