Yeah, the fight for RNC Chairman should give us a very good idea which way the party plans to go the next 2-4 years.

Given the way the base of the party has changed since at least, say, 1994, perhaps earlier, say back to 1980, I would be stunned if the new chair was someone other than a a far RW.

If Obama governs at all well, the Reps will be wandering in the wilderness until they can figure out how to get some House seats in New England, metaphorically speaking.
