I blame Palin and McCain's poor judgement this election cycle for his loss. Barring this election cycle, John McCain is a very honorable and decent guy (I am judging him over his lifespan - so I do discount his shortcomings and judgment over keating scandal). Certainly light years ahead of GWB and I thought he would not be a bad president until he picked Palin. The more I saw Palin, the more scary it seemed since he seemed very impulsive decision maker.
