The thread has been remarkably restrained about this huge victory. In fact, the rejoicing has been more about the historic nature of the win and some of the reasons for it. People have complimented both Bush and McCain for their speeches and have spoken of unity.

In case you haven't been listening to yourself--

Republicans have only themselves to blame for the loss they suffered last night by adopting too many attributes from the Democrats.

I'm hoping for a more conciliatory attitude from your side. So far, I haven't seen much.

I think we have learned from the Democrats what happens if you don't give anything in return.

If Obama gives a flip about the country, he will adopt a more mature attitude than that shown by some of his followers


Given the things I have just read on some of the RW threads, your time might be better spent chastising them for not showing the same kind of grace in defeat and respect for their new CinC that their candidate did.
