Dave, GM, and all, For more info on speech recognition combined with natural language processing, and and the way they will change everything, see zdnet.com . It's going to take an awful lot of silicon to make this go. This isn't just a matter of "Now Excel recalcs in .01 sec instead of .1 seconds -- who cares?" This is a paradigm shift for the UI, yielding a huge increase in productivity. Hence, the high-end chips to make this go -will- be purchased, and in enormous quantities, for work and home. And this not just in 2010. But starting now (slowly), and really getting going probably before 2000 (my guess). --John
