she is a woman of extremely limited accomplishment put forth for an extremely important role, and didn't have the professionalism to admit to herself or the public that she was not ready. It struck me after I posted that Palin may be an inverted/negative sign that women have finally arrived. Prior to Palin, most women who got to the national level needed to be considerably better than their male counterparts to get that high.....think HRC. Meanwhile, Palin appears to be the female version of the male chronie, exuding mediocrity, not quality. Unfortunately, she may be the beginning of a whole new breed of female national officeholders.
