Hey Ted, the high-speed rail proposition here looks like it will pass. I decided to vote for it, by the way.

WA state's rail iniative also passed. I think its because of high gas prices although in CA I think driving and flying between SFO and LAX have become such a nightmares.....that they might have added to the success of the rail proposition.

P.S. - Prop. 8 also passed, banning gay marriage once again.

Yes, I just saw that. That surprised me. What was the final vote count......was it close?
