But I think I still have a point. I have a problem with whitewashing the term Rovian. As for the strategy of solidifying the base, expanding it with efforts to increase turnout, and appealing to the center without compromising more than you have to, that just seems to be common sense, and could describe pretty much any successful campaign. I wouldn't give Rove the credit for coming up with those ideas. - Allen
