If you sincerely think Palin was a plus for the ticket, then the one who doesn’t “get it” is you because nothing could be further from the empirical truth.

It’s OK to have an emotional investment in your candidates, as you obviously do, but elections are decided by hard numbers. In terms of the numbers, Palin was probably worst VP pick by any candidate in the past 40 years and perhaps ever.
