I hate to say this...But Why? who the hell is going to need to buy more than four cores for the consumer market? Doesn't AMD get a 17% improvement at the 45nm node plus a 20% ipc at 75 watts... AMD can sell these between $150-200 for the consumer market plus a high end video card for $200 and they will sell a lot of merchandise going forward. I think AMD doesn't have to have better than Intel anymore but just reduced cost structure going forward especially for the next couple of years...If I want to buy a Honda Accord hybrid at $25,000 instead of a Cadillac hybrid Escalade for $80,000 its my choice...IMHO...:>)
