I think MN is a lot more conservative that it appears on the surface. I keep remembering that during WWII MPLS was the anti Semitic capital of the US. Its gotten more progressive since then, but I think there is an undercurrent of conservatism running through the state......not that I am suggesting conservatives are anti Semitic.
