I blamed Clinton when the housing and next, the financial bubble hit.
For extending equal credit to anybody for 'equal opportunity' reasons only, independent of credit ratings and/or - basic ability to pay back.

Kind of funny, that 2-3 years ago, at BofA I was refused a home equity credit of 50k$ on top of our 150k$ mortgage on our home worth 800K$ (now 650k$) for having "too little US income".
That in spite of our 8000+ credit rating ;)

Amexco never had a problem when they invited us into their highest possible elite class after having paid them on time for 30+ years.
I seriously doubt that the very same BofA branch had any other clients qualified for that credit card level.
