No, you're right, it's something more than just that, imo. Younger folks probably are a bit dazzled, they've never seen a politician you could admire before, but I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict that he might be the real deal, a once in a generation Churchillian or Trudeauesque (google him -- he's the one who pirouetted behind the Queen -g) figure and leader. No of course he won't get everything done he 'promised', but he might be just what you need -- anybody who could come from here ... To here -- with one hell of a lot of Hollywood and Upper East Side money people and back room types in between -- has convinced one hell of a lot of cynical people, not just starry-eyed kids. Everyone mocks his rhetorical skills, but just wait til he gets 50% of rednecks agreeing that a pitchfork march on Wall Street would be a good idea, y'all won't be mocking me then. <g>
