I don't see Obama going out and trying to sell the other side on his own agenda; rather, he will create a new political reality with his administration that voters like your boys (and us) can get excited about and feel is doing the right thing and getting something done, and success can snowball from there if all goes well.

IOW, those who argue in 2010 and 2012 for the need for a radical departure to some other governing philosophy are going to get a lot of "Huh? Why?" in response.

This is so much like the Dems in the 1980's it's uncanny.
