I voted against most of the Propositions - we need to tighten our belts - but must admit I voted for 1A. Having driven many times down I-5 to LA, I've seen a huge amount of traffic over the years. If you fly over CA at any time of night, you see a huge lighted ribbon running down the length of the state.

A high speed rail would save mucho gas and pollution, I believe.
