The massive financial advantage certainly made a difference. When you can afford to spend 5 million plus bucks a few days before the election running an infomercial, you have a real advantage.

Something should be done about the ability to donate via the internet with zero accountability. We have to stop the funneling of money from foreign sources into American elections.

Remember what a big deal the media made about Bush raising 100 million dollars in 2000 and 2004. It pales in comparison to what Obama raised.

BTW, most of my buddies in the military were somewhat depressed today. They definitely wanted McCain to be Commander in Chief instead of Obama. Of course, they will support who the American people chose.
