Neeka That's the not so humorous part of the whole tax exemption business by Obama up to $250,000. was it not. People at all levels have significant losses in their portfolios whether managed themselves, by financial planners, by the banks, the mutural funds, the hedge funds--------these losses are huge. Will they ever recoup and be able to pay taxes on gains in these------not likely. Have a friend newly retired from a lifelong job---------the retirement looked great------until she learned that there has been a loss of 2/3rds of the retirement fund, now her advisor is telling her to purchase a 1 to 2% annuity. mj
