No, perhaps if you and Sankar had dropped me an e-mail message when you got out before the crash, I might have exited with a small loss.

But that's o.k.; I wouldn't want TNH and the other looongs to suffer by themselves. And after all, it's only money -- and this way, when CTYS drops to zero, I'll have a $3,000 tax write-off each year for the next twenty years.

Of course, there's always the chance I'll have a large gain in another stock, such as FIBR (which hopefully hasn't issued any floorless debentures), and then I'll be able to take my CTYS write-off all at once.
