I would be extremely cautious with REITs. I spoke with a very high level person connected with this company yesterday bizjournals.com He told me that this company is retrenching as hard and fast as they can because the CRE market is dead and getting worse. They see nothing positive for two years. He also said CRE sublet footage numbers are skyrocketing to levels that are mindboggling.
