NetRadio Network Debuts the NetRadio NetShow Remote Player Featuring 12 Microsoft NetShow Channels

Now Listeners Can Hear This New Streaming Technology from any Participating Web Site

MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- NetRadio Network (http://www.netradio.net) announces a new product roll-out in its marketing relationship with Microsoft Corporation. The new product is called the NetRadio NetShow Remote, a virtual ''boombox'' which allows Web surfers on other sites to enjoy many of the continuous music and information channels available on NetRadio's site. Initially, this innovative off-site listening device will feature the audio channels of NetRadio's NetShow Studio. In addition to listening to the twelve (12) channels currently available, users may also download NetShow 2.0 directly from the Remote player.

''Many of our listeners who are also Webmasters, have indicated to us that they would like to add music to their sites,'' said Jan Andersen, NetRadio's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. ''By introducing the NetRadio Remote, we enable any site to incorporate a broad variety of audio content in a matter of seconds. Also, having Web surfers discover NetRadio from other sites will further accelerate NetRadio's current audience growth which is already increasing at 50% per month. By initially featuring NetShow channels, we will help Microsoft increase the installed user base of their streaming technology.''

''The impressive increase in user acceptance for on-demand music and information over the Internet is holding strong,'' said Michael Ahern, Lead Product Manager, Site Server, Microsoft Corporation. ''We believe that NetRadio's innovative Remote player represents an excellent way to stimulate this rate of growth even further. And we are delighted to have NetShow be a part of this program at the outset.''

Webmasters interested in installing the NetRadio Remote player are invited to sign up at: netradio.net.
