I do differ with you on that-----with the Democrats you elect the candidate and their wife.

The wives of Carter and Clinton were extremely influential in their time in office. I expect the same from Michelle Obama------she is a very opinionated woman on the left, she is an activist.

Activist don't stop being who they are because they suddenly become the wife of a President.

I fully expect that she will wield massive influence in the Presidency----either behind the scenes or overtly.
