Laws on marriage, abortion, religion in schools, refusal to provide birth control in third world countries, the things they would see as dictating moral decisions to others- These aren't going to fly with a lot of young people. They may may a personal decision on them that agrees with conservatives, but the priority of personal choice trumps absolutism.

The laws on marriage are perhaps the best case for an argument for a lack of inclusion, but the Republicans aren't really trying to change anything here the Democrats are. Also the laws on marriage have wide spread support, they aren't the reason for the Republicans unpopularity.

Allowing abortion is being less inclusive, as you are excluding human beings from the protection of the law and allowing them to be killed. Also while the country is overall a pro-choice country, a majority of people want more restrictions on abortion.

Religion in schools? On a national level Republicans have done just about nothing on this issue. Bush hasn't. McCain hasn't.

There hasn't been a general refusal to provide birth control to third world countries.

but the priority of personal choice trumps absolutism.

In general the Democrats don't support personal choice any more than the Republicans do. Personal choice isn't limited to the issues you listed.

Ammo can't believe that when I grew up in Va, anti-miscegenation laws were on the books til I went to college.

It wasn't Republicans who passed those laws.
