ELMSFORD, NY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--October 22, 1997--Cityscape
Financial Corp. (NASDAQ:CTYS) today sought to clarify some
information concerning the retirement of Mr. Martin Brand. It was
announced on September 5, 1997 by Cityscape's UK subsidiary, City
Mortgage Corporation (CMC), that Mr. Brand, 61, would be retiring as
Lending Director of CMC. It also was announced by CMC that Mr.
David Owen, 40, was appointed Lending Director, effective October 6.
Mr. Owen, 40, previously was Credit Director of Mortgage Trust, the
direct lending subsidiary of First National Building Society (FNBS),
Ireland's largest building society, where he was responsible for the
formulation and implementation of its UK group credit policy. Prior
to that, he was a founder of Mortgage Trust in 1986, where he was
responsible for its credit policy, underwriting, legal services and
customer care. |
