Wow! Maybe you AREN'T a neanderthal! I agree, CA has tons of really rich people who could pay more.

A guy in my tennis club asserted to me that it was impossible to live in S. Cal. unless you made at least $100k/yr, minimum. I told him the median FAMILY income in San Diego county at the time was like $32k/yr, and he refused to believe me.
