Rule #1-Throw out everything you learned in the last 20 years about stock mkt investing,pe ratios,income to housing,etc.If you want to benchmark look to the 1970's.The bubble distorted the price mechanism so loss making was temporarily seen as money making.I still say at least 20% of our work force is still in the loss making arena and will need to get jobs in other areas.In the mean time they cost society more than they produce.Can this be fixed in less than 4 years?I say let the tide go out further and expose the rot.Do not cover it or we get a Japan outcome
