How will the 'crats attempt to solve the GM and other basket case problems? There's only way for them : import duties. Given that they're all demand management types they will figure out they need to bottle up domestic demand. They will overrule previous concerns of weakening the Tbond and thereby weaken the RE market. They'll justify it by getting their priorities straight. Since the RE market is already trashed, might as well ignore it to save their electorate. After all, if jobs fail, the RE market will get further trashed anyway. There's only one problem with this "solution". Virulent inflation, where the US is exposed for its economic fraud. How will 'crats address that? Wage and price controls.
