Padova, Italy, October 7, 2008 - Visitors to Security Essen 2008 and Glasstec 2008 will be able to see and experience state-of-the-art automotive smart glass on a Fiat Croma outfitted with SPD-SmartGlass™ from Research Frontiers licensee Isoclima S.p.A. Isoclima also will exhibit a BMW Series 7 armored glass rear side window with its Cromalite® brand of SPD-Smart glass at Security Essen 2008.

In addition to the control of visible light and glare, Isoclima's Cromalite® SPD-Smart glass also blocks over 99% of damaging ultraviolet (UV) light that can be unhealthy for passengers and which degrades vehicle interiors and instrumentation. The SPD-equipped Fiat Croma will initially be exhibited by Isoclima at Security Essen 2008 (Hall 6, Stand 54), the world's leading trade show devoted to security and fire prevention, held from October 7-10, 2008 in Essen, Germany.
