Seems to me the RW dreaded Obama's "weakness" and when he shows immediately that he means business, they are horrified. Why wouldn't his assertiveness also translate to foreign affairs? Well, I guess that depends on how you define assertiveness...


Same thing with the election results. First it was, he's just an empty suit with no experience and dangerous associations in his background, how could anyone vote for him?

Now it's hey, he was such a rock star, why didn't he get a much larger % of the popular vote?

LOL, no pleasing some people. I was hoping for a few more % in the popular tally but the 364 electoral votes is a pretty clear mandate compared to Bush's punk results in comparison both times.

The verdict on Obama is far from in. Lots of promise there, now time to start achieving in the real world and not just the campaign trail.

McCain - in the end, another Bob Dole, a decent guy with a temper and a shortage of charisma.
