Re: "Dems Target Private Retirement Accounts"

You are crazy, right?

I mean... some nut-job (but totally PRIVATE INDIVIDUAL) testifies before a subcommittee in Congress a month ago about their crazy personal wet dream to have the government take over private investment accounts... and the 'Dem leadership' of the committee SPEAK OUT *against* the crazy idea (that no one, and I mean no one, in their right mind is actually for....) and somehow the fringe article that you posted tries to claim that "Dems" are out to take-over retirement plans, when they actually OPPOSED the crazy idea?

I mean... DAMN. What a spin job!

PS --- you actually *can* find a government crazy enough to pull such a stupid and self-destructive stunt if you look around the world hard enough: The economically illiterate and loonie Kirchner government down in Argentina just pulled exactly this stunt --- they passed a law to have the Argentinian government take over their private retirement system accounts, so they could GRAB all of the money in those accounts and use the funds to buy crappy Argentinian government bonds to try to prop-up Argentina's collapsing government reserves and, guess what?

It immediately brought about a collapse in foreign confidence and the FURTHER COLLAPSE of their currency.

A more lunatic idea one could not imagine --- but it AIN'T being proposed by national "Dems" or "Reps"... that's just CRAZY to claim.
