I agree that liberty should be broadly conceived, and I certainly support the liberties you mention.

I also agree that many conservatives have a constrained view of liberty. This is a failing that I hope the next several years will change.

But many liberals do, too. Those in the left or center-left tend to believe in positive liberties (e.g. right to health care, right to affordable housing, etc) that implies the duty of another citizen to provide these services or goods. It may be well-intentioned but it has the effect of reducing the incentive of productive people to keep producing. And the duties and privileges are not evenly apportioned - some end up with only duties, while others end up with only privileges. This usually doesn't end well.
