I agree completely. However, I do think there is a constiutuency of the voting public that does not want their kids under about age 12 to know what "LGBT" stands for, and I really doubt the gay community is going to win this battle, its just reality. I can see where in the moment that SF teacher didn't think anything of asking her kids to come to the ceremony.
