I tend to not care. If you'd like to marry your mom, and you're both old enough, not my problem.

However, for good reasons of health and potential for abuse, incest is illegal. So, not only can fathers not marry sons, they also can't marry daughters. Thus, the law has not been unevenly applied to hetero- and homosexuals.

Same with marrying your dog (which I believe will be your next question). Beastiality being outlawed, both hetero and homosexual; besides, dogs are notorious for hogging the blankets.

And your coffee cup, or any other inanimate object you can't do without and feel the need to enter into a deep and meaningful relationship.
