We clearly have leaders (both parties) who have socialist leanings. The notion that Bush was the champion of lazzez faire capitalism is a myth. The notion that we live in an unregulated economically free society is likewise a myth. I think we have reached that point where democracies fail. The voters have discovered that they can vote themselves benefits. If you include government employees and the new welfare class that President Elect Obama will create, I think that more than 50% of the people will be getting a check of somekind from the federal government. What do you think will happen when a majority of the voters can vote themselves benefits and not have to pay taxes. If you understand human nature, you can answer that question without any help from me. Little joe
